COMPANY SPECIALIZATION

 

Crop production

 

The company's main business is producing crops that meet organic certification standards.
These are cereals and legumes (wheat, spelt, durum wheat, oats, rye, barley, buckwheat, millet, soybeans, corn, peas, beans, beans, rapeseed, flax).

 

When we grow crops:

 

  • We do not use pesticides, herbicides, or growth stimulants;
  • We produce and apply organic compost;
  • We mechanically process weeds;
  • Harvesting with our own machinery;
  • We store the harvest in a modern elevator.

 

Livestock farming

 

The company breeds dairy and meat Simmental cattle.

 

We have three dairy farms and one farm where we fatten animals for meat. In total, we have 4,700 animals, including 1,700 dairy cows.

 

On average, cows produce 7000 liters of milk per year. This milk is considered "extra" class milk.

 

Our company's approach to organic livestock farming:

 

  • We provide free access to water, food, and a bed;
  • We do not use hormones or stimulants;
  • We limit our use of antibiotics;
  • We give our cows 180 days of free range;
  • We feed them organic feed;
  • We feed calves mother's milk for 4 months.

 

Since 2014, GALEKS-AGRO has been a breeding reproducer of the Simmental breed.

Processing

 

We process our raw organic crops to create a wide range of organic cereals, flakes and flour.

 

The company is continually upgrading its production facilities to develop new products that appeal to everyone.


We recently bought a state-of-the-art mill to make healthy organic flour from durum wheat, spelt, rye, buckwheat, oatmeal, and pea flour.

Honey

 

We have 200 bee colonies that collect nectar from flowers that are grown without pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. 

 

Organic beekeeping in our company is about:

 

  • Collecting nectar from organic honey plants that are up to 3 km away;
  • Care for bees only with products that are approved;
  • Leaving honey in the hive so the bees have enough to last through the winter.

Walnuts

 

In 2017, the company planted an organic walnut orchard that is 50 hectares in size. The orchard follows the principles of organic farming, and the best types of walnut trees from a nursery in Moldova were chosen to plant the orchard.

 

Now, the young orchard is already showing promise and is entering the phase where it starts to produce fruit. Every year, the amount of nuts produced increases, which shows that the quality of the nuts is high and that the production process is well-organized.

 

Thanks to our careful plant care and use of innovative organic farming techniques, we produce a high-quality organic nut product.
